Programme:

10:15 – Jayne Baldwin who will talk about her book The Road to the Gallows about a murder in the Glenkens in the 19th century which led to a hanging in Dumfries.

11:30 – Jane Baldwin – not be confused!- will discuss her two novels Dead Man’s Prayer and Perfect Dead featuring ex priest turned detective Frank Farrell, which have a Dumfries and Galloway setting.

14:00 – Allan Nicol author of Manuel, Scotland’s First Serial Killer will be the third speaker of the day. He is also the author of Monster Butler, the story of Archibald Hall, another serial killer and in conversation will speak about his two fascinating books.

15:15 – Stephen O’Rourke’s first novel The Crown Agent an action-packed adventure story set in Scotland in the 1820s is being published next week. The official launch is at Waterstone’s in Edinburgh on 7th November and Well-Read Books is delighted that Stephen will join us on 23rd to talk about his book – and his plans for future publications.

There will be time for questions and contributions from the audience.
